Biologically engineered crabs with heavily armoured shells and very effective pincers, the exacid are the enforcers of The Dark Peak, with license to use deadly force. Able to also appear in bipedal form with the similar armour and pincer weapons, they are not considered anything unusual by the human population.

Created by and fiercely loyal to the nascenti, exacids are as visible as the nascenti are hidden, frequently present in large numbers, especially at events where crosslander attendance is expected.
