Syncarid, the least possible to define entity of the murk, they are variably sized stingray type creatures capable of enveloping and stinging anyone to death -- known as the shadows and ghosts of the murk (but are distinct from murk wraith), but they can also appear in human form, and also fulfil the role of programmers and synchronisers of code within the massive quantum-organic computer that is The Dark Peak.
