Kibble
Kibble is a gutterball, and how he ended up perched on Mold's shoulder starts with a symbiot that wasn't Kibble at all. Mold's first bond was with a symbiot called Hassan. Where Kibble came from before that, or why he was in the junkyard to begin with, isn't on any record I've been able to find.
Hassan fell ill, and a symbiot that's ill runs backward through the bond as much as forward -- Mold talked rubbish that wasn't his, drank to dull a pain that wasn't his either, and made it worse rather than better. Boggy Lomas arrived in the middle of this with his own symbiot, jason, and by whatever means a pest controller commands a stray gutterball, took hold of Kibble and dropped him onto Hassan. It killed him outright. Mold passed out and remembers none of it -- what I have here is Kibble's account, given to fill the gap in Mold's memory afterward, not Mold's own.
Kibble came out of the encounter with barely a spark of himself left, degrading fast without a host to draw from. He found Mold instead -- unconscious, freshly bereaved of his first symbiot, and still faintly alive -- and fed what remained of his own lifeforce into him rather than let either of them finish dying. By the time Mold's eyes opened, the new bond had already set.
He has no senses of his own worth the name. No ears -- he hears through Mold's, borrowed and secondhand, half a beat behind whatever Mold's actually listening to. What he has instead is the reading: alpha waves, intent, the shape of a threat before it's finished announcing itself, and a flat, dry commentary on all of it that Mold has learned to trust more than his own judgement most days.
Field note: if Mold's shoulder is empty, do not assume Kibble is elsewhere on business. A gutterball this bonded does not willingly leave its host. Ask what happened to the host instead.
