The Hellsborough Heretic
The Hellsborough Heretic is a subversive publication issued by the crosslander resistance, and has been for many years -- the oldest copy I have found (issue 1) dates back to 79.mizzle-rooter, something like 27 years ago there or thereabouts. It isn't controlled by the nascenti or the organic network / fungal AI, so it isn't the propaganda of the same, and it rarely, if ever, falls into the hands of those who live in Hellsborough. You will find here copies that I have purloined in my travels in the crosslands. You'll notice that issues will be missing or can be out of sequence, as sometimes, I can't get hold of them -- or they simply no longer exist.
You will sometimes read details of my notes from the field (my diary), the terminology of the bestiary, and details of other literature, such as The Hellsborough Chronicles -- anything that the resistance feel may aid crosslanders in their war against the overlords of the jellyheads.
The first flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.mizzle-rooter.13 ~ 79.snow-ripperthroat.8 (~16 years) -- The longstanding original flag, changed because the moor clan eventually objected to being in the lower left quandrant.
The second flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.snow-ripperthroat.8 ~ 79.hail-flufftail.17 (~ 2 years) -- the second flag and first in a series of relatively quick iterations (to me a pointless and unnecessary expense, but to the crosslanders, required in the maintenance of peace and concord). The salmon pink halo of the top right - bottom left part of the cross representing the colour the the sun as seen through the murk of The Dark Peak and the top left to bottom right part representing the colour of the moon, again as viewed through the murk.
The third flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.hail-flufftail.17 ~ 79.squall-venomtooth.4 -- the addition of the golden sun in The Nether Lands, with the silver halo of the moon (note that the silver colour of the moon is the same shade that was previously referenced as "bone").
The fourth flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.squall-venomtooth.4 ~ 79.squall-venomtooth.16 -- Influenced by an eclipse of the moon, the fourth iteration replaces the bone with gold and extends shards of silver moonlight.
The fifth flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.squall-venomtooth.16 ~ 79.squall-venomtooth.17 -- The power of the sun replaces the shards of the moon in the fifth iteration, the reason for this change isn't understood, but the flag lasted for only around a month.
The sixth flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.squall-venomtooth.17 ~ 79.fog-rooter.11 (~6 years) -- The sunlight halo'd by the moonlight, but the colours as seen through the murk remain.
The seventh flag of the Netherlander Alliance, 79.fog-rooter.11 to present -- The current iteration where, in a sign of hope and strength, the colour of the sun and the moon as viewed through the murk on the original diagonals are replaced with the silver of moonlight.
